KYBELLA® - For those of us with extra fat under the chin area, KYBELLA is here to slim your profile and give you the tight, sexy neckline of your youth! When injected into the fat beneath the chin, KYBELLA causes the destruction of stubborn fat cells. Once destroyed, those cells cannot store or accumulate fat (and yes, they don’t return!) The active ingredient in KYBELLA is deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of dietary fat. The KYBELLA injection process takes around 15-20 minutes and consists of multiple small injections under the chin area, with the amount necessary dependent on the fat present and your desired profile. Most patients receive around six treatments, with one month spacing in between and side effects include some temporary swelling, bruising and numbness in between sessions. The result is a gorgeous, slimming profile just like these Pure Skin patient results below!
Forever Young BBL™ - If the body produces too much or too little melanin, it can cause brown spots, sunspots, moles, melasma or other skin patches that appear lighter or darker than normal. This is a common sign of aging associated with genetics and sun damage and we love utilizing our Forever Young BBL Laser to help our patients change the expression of genes and stop the clock on the appearance of aging skin. This revolutionary laser uniquely delivers light therapy targeting the signs of aging and sun damage and effectively provides a more refreshed, rejuvenated, and youthful appearance. Forever Young BBL treats a wide variety of conditions, including removal of age spots, freckles, redness, small vessels and more. Forever Young BBL can also be used to reduce unwanted hair and control active acne on all areas of the body. While the number of treatments necessary to address specific concerns will vary, most patients will notice a significant improvement in as little as three sessions in this nearly pain free procedure. While some patients may notice redness or flushing after treatment, any residual effects often resolve within a few hours.
Sculptra® - You may have heard of Sculptra referred to as the “liquid facelift” and with our before and after photos, you’ll understand why! Sculptra’s dramatic and impressive results are due to the poly-L-lactic acid present in this injectable that stimulate your body’s own natural collagen production, volumizing skin for up to two whole years. Sculptra is different than other dermal fillers because it gradually and subtly corrects facial wrinkles and sagging over time, as it is injected within the deep dermis, so your skin's structure is reinforced as it replaces lost collagen. This reinforced collagen structure provides a lovely foundation; gradually smoothing your shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds and replacing facial volume that has been depleted over time. Results of Sculptra appear gradually and on average, three to five sessions are needed, typically one vial per month until the series is completed. The number of injection sessions and the quantity of injections per session vary from patient to patient.
Profrac Eyes - Dark under eye circles and/or bags can be caused by a variety of factors, from aging, sunbathing, genetics to allergies. Over time, skin naturally loses collagen and grows thinner, which can increase the appearance of dark circles and bags under the eyes. Our ProFractional™ Laser uses a tiny laser beam to create pinpoint sized areas in the skin that signal the body’s wound healing response, creating new collagen which adds firmness and resilience to the skin. As a result, the eye area will show an improvement in tone, texture and overall brighter skin. This treatment carries with it shorter healing times and increased patient comfort in comparison to other treatments and we most often recommend a series of three treatments, one month apart for best results.
Nail Fungus Treatments - Contrary to popular belief, nail fungus can develop at any age, as it is correlated to a weakened immune system, low blood circulation to the feet or can initially start as athletes’ foot. One thing we can all agree on is that yellowing, crumbling, distorted toenails isn’t a look you’re going for at any age. At Pure Skin, our own Dr. John Botsford treats nail fungus with a painless, downtime free procedure using our Sciton® ClearSense™ 1064 Laser. This 10 to 20-minute treatment to the nails and nail beds of affected toenails eliminates fungus and facilitates the growth of clear nails without surgery and without antifungal medications.
